Bulldogs to compete in Friar Thanksgiving Class from Friday-Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team will participate in the three-day Friar Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Providence College. The tournament runs Friday-Sunday, and the Bulldogs will face Weber State, Hartford, and the Friars.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Weber State heads into Friday's matchup with a 1-2 record. Hartford is 0-5 at the start of the tournament, and the Friars head into the Thanksgiving Classic with a 3-2 record.

WHAT TO KNOW

  • Mariona Planes Fortuny continues to be the Black and Gold leader on offense, as she has led the Dawgs in scoring three times this season.
  • Megan Bodziony tallied her third double-digit scoring performance of the year against Loyola. Bodziony has also attempted double-digit shots in four of the five games played this year.
  • Nicole Gallagher has made at least one three-pointer in four games to start the year. She is shooting a career-best 40% from beyond the arc.
