SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men and women’s soccer programs will be hosting a youth soccer academy for boys and girls ages 6-12 from July 19th-July 23rd. The academy will be a mix of technical stations, small-sided games and individual instruction. Some areas of focus will be: dribbling, passing, shooting and receiving.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bulldog Soccer Academy’s women’s soccer clinic scheduled for Sunday, April 11 at 1:30 p.m. has been cancelled. The program’s next camp will be held July 13th-16th on the Bryant University campus.

SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University head women's soccer coach Chris Flint is pleased to announce the signing of nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to enroll and participate in women's soccer at the University this fall. The announcement was made Friday, Feb. 5th by Coach Flint and Director of Athletics Bill Smith.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University Athletics Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce three new additions to the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame for 2010. Former volleyball setter Britta Beckman ’04 (Omaha, Neb.), baseball pitcher Mike Florest ’04 (Franklin, Mass.) and women’s soccer forward Allison Kelly ’04 (Trumbull, Conn.) round out this year’s Hall of Fame class, bringing the total number elected into the Hall to 84 members. The three will be officially inducted during the summer of 2011 in conjunction with the Black & Gold Golf Tournament, as the Hall of Fame Dinner will move to a biennial rotation.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - In its first season eligible for awards and honors, Bryant University sophomore Mary Green (Merrick, N.Y.) made history as she is the first-ever women's soccer player to earn postseason Northeast Conference (NEC) accolades. On Thursday evening, she was named to the second team all-NEC for her defensive efforts as voted on by conference coaches.

Moon Township, Pa. - In the midst of a five game road trip, Bryant senior Brianne Lustenring (Massapequa, N.Y.) scored the game-winner late in the first half at Robert Morris as the Bulldogs were able to hold off the Colonials for their first shutout victory of the season on Sunday.
