EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the inaugural Rothenberg Invitational at Goddard State Park Friday afternoon. With both teams resting several top performers this fall in preparation for the upcoming Northeast Conference Championships, the Bulldogs fared well with the men placing fourth and the women coming in at seventh.

BOSTON, Mass. –The Bryant University men’s and women’s cross country teams returned to Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. for the New England Championships Saturday finishing 33rd and 42nd overall respectively. Both sides continued to improve as the team prepares for the Northeast Conference championships at the end of the month.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s and women’s cross country teams will head to Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. Saturday Oct 9 for the New England Championships. The women will kick-off the championships with a 5k race at 12:45 p.m., followed by the men’s 8k at 1:30 p.m. The men’s side finished 36th out of 47 teams in 2009 and the women’s team finished 32nd out of 49 schools.
BRYANT TO HOST 10TH ANNUAL SHAWN M. NASSANEY RACE/WALK ON OCTOBER 10

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant will host the 10th Annual Shawn M. Nassaney Race/Walk on Sunday, October 10, 2010 on the Bryant University campus. The race will begin shortly after a 12:4 p.m. pre-race ceremony, where participants will remember Nassaney, Lynn Goodchild and all of those who passed away on September 11, 2001.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After putting forth a strong showing at the Blue Devil Invitational, the Bryant University cross country squad had another solid performance at the Codfish Bowl Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. The women’s side finished ninth out of 23 teams, and the men’s team finished 10th out of 25 teams.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant Cross Country team will compete in the 2010 Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park in Boston on Saturday. Both the men’s and women’s teams will be competing, with the women’s team competing in a 5k at 11AM and the men’s team taking part in an 8k at 11:30AM. Saturday’s race will be the Bulldog’s third of the season.

NEW BRITAIN, CONN. - The Bryant University men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the 2010 Central Connecticut Cross Country Invitational Saturday afternoon at Stanly Park in New Britain, Conn. The women, led by the strong running by Martha Reynolds, finished eighth overall.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University’s cross country squads put forth a strong showing as the host teams at the Bryant XC Invitational Friday afternoon. The meet, which was the first of the season for the Bulldogs, featured a field of 55 women and 87 men despite the rainy conditions.
